Sensory TRiBE is a Monterey Bay reggae-fusion band built around shared rhythm, multiple voices and the kinetic lift of live horns.
Full bio
Formed in 2016, Sensory TRiBE grew from Monterey’s collaborative music community into a genre-fluid live band. Reggae is the center of gravity, while hip-hop, funk, soul, Latin influence and global rhythms give the music its wider orbit.
The group’s performances are designed as an exchange: a deep rhythm section, interlocking vocals and brass-driven peaks that turn a set into a collective experience. That sound has carried Sensory TRiBE to California Roots Music & Arts Festival in 2025 and community stages including West End Celebration, First Night Monterey, Monterey Museum of Art, UC Santa Cruz Fall Harvest Festival and Greenfield Harvest Festival.
